To report any traffic safety issues please call the Woodridge Police Department Dispatch Center via 911, (emergency or non-emergency) and report the concern and also ask to speak with an officer. You will be asked to provide as much information as possible including the offending vehicle/driver description, license plate number and violation observed. You may be asked whether you would like to sign a complaint. Absent an officer witnessing any violation you would have to agree to be a witness and be prepared to provide in court testimony, in order for a citation to be issued. This is because only the actual witness to a violation can testify in any court proceedings. Optionally if the officer is provided with enough valid information the officer may be able to contact the registered owner of the violating vehicle and/or actual driver and issue a warning.
