Pursuant to Ordinance #2005-35, as of May 30, 2005, the Village of Woodridge will be charging a fee for Travel Permits. A schedule of various charges for overweight or overdimension vehicles is included with each permit application. When remitting the fee for your travel, please use only the highest of the applicable fees. Do not add fees for every overweight/overdimension factor.
The incorporation of charging a fee for travel will necessitate your planning ahead to apply for a permit. Please be sure to mail or bring your check and permit application to Public Works, 1 Plaza Drive, Woodridge, IL 60517 at least 24 hours before your travel date. Applicants anticipating repeated travel through the Village may also set up a reserve account to expedite the permit process. Permits will not be processed without prior payment.
Failure to obtain a permit prior to travel in the Village shall result in the assessment of potentially significant fines and penalties.
