No signs are permitted on public rights-of-way between sidewalk and curb, except official governmental signs or signs authorized, in writing, by the Director of Building and Zoning. A maximum of two signs are allowed at a time. Each sign is allowed to be a maximum of four square feet in area. The signs may be put up no more than 48 hours before the sale or event and must be removed no later than 24 hours after the sale or event. The signs may be displayed up to four times per calendar year, up to three consecutive days at a time.
Grand Openings, etc.
Written requests for promotional signs for Grand Openings should be sent to the Building Commissioner, at Five Plaza Drive. Window promotional signs in all commercial districts cannot cover 50% of the total window area.
