  1. 3rd Annual Kiwanis Cars for a Cause

    September 9, All Day

    Join the Kiwanis for their third annual Car Show on September 9th in the Cozzi Corner parking lot at the Northwest corner of 75th Street and Lemont Road. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and there will be awards handed out throughout the day. Sponsors and donors are needed for this fun event and can reach the Kiwanis club at (630) 502-2383.

  2. Register for 17th Annual Woodridge Art Show by September 22

    September 9, All Day

    The Woodridge Library invites artists to register for the 17th Annual Woodridge Art Show being held in October. Applications must be returned to the Woodridge Public Library Circulation Desk by September 22nd. This popular show gives Woodridge residents 18 years and over a chance to display up to three original pieces of art: beginners as well as experienced artists are welcome. Information for participants and applications are available online or at the Circulation Desk of the library.

  3. Submit Your Nomination for the Community Recognition Program by September 29!

    September 9, All Day

    Every year, at the annual Community Recognition Award Ceremony in December, the Village of Woodridge recognizes people and organizations in the community that have provided positive contributions. Nominations are now being accepted for the following categories: citizen, business, association, employee, and youth (ages under 21). Nominations are reviewed by the Woodridge Intergovernmental Council who recommends candidates to the Village Board for consideration. Nominations must be received by September 29th.   5. Understanding Property Tax Assessments

    September 9, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

    Residents can learn about the process for determining how their property taxes are calculated and how to appeal if they believe they are being over-assessed. The presentation will be led by Downers Grove Township Assessor Greg Boltz, Lisle Township Assessor John Trowbridge, and DuPage Township Assessor Jean Kelly. This program takes place on Saturday, September 9th, between 10:00 a.m. and noon, at Downers Grove Public Library, 1050 Curtiss St., Downers Grove. Space is limited so please RSVP at (630) 737-0504.

    The Woodridge Library is hosting an afternoon of Scrabble on Saturday, September 9 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Participants may register as a single player or for a group. Light refreshments served: prizes for longest word, most valuable word and board with most words. Official Scrabble rules will be followed.
