June 19, 2017 Plan Commission Consideration

On Monday, June 19, 2017, at 7:30 p.m. at the Woodridge Village Hall, Five Plaza Drive, the Woodridge Plan Commission will consider the following:

Maass Automotive – 2449 63rd Street: The Plan Commission will hold a public hearing and consider an application by Fred and Marty Maass. The applicant is requesting a major amendment to a special use permit for a Planned Unit Development to allow construction of a 1,410 square foot addition to an existing automotive service station (formerly Oil Express). The property and existing building is located south of the McDonald’s restaurant and the Thornton’s Gas Station near the former Dominick’s.

Lots 3, 4 and 19 – Main Street at Seven Bridges: The Plan Commission will consider a request by Gateway Commercial Partners to develop the vacant property known as Lots 3, 4 and 19 of Main Street at Seven Bridges, located at the southeast corner of Main Street and Irving Place. Gateway is proposing two multi-tenant retail/restaurant buildings on the ½-acre property. The proposed western building is 4,055 square feet and the eastern building is 7,189 square feet with a drive-thru and bypass lane. If approved, Starbuck’s would occupy the southern portion of the eastern building, where the drive-thru is proposed. The request requires subdivision, an amendment to Zoning Lot Plan No. 1, and preliminary and final RPUD approval for Lots 3 and 4. Village Board consideration of the request is anticipated to occur on July 20, 2017.

Cooper’s Hawk – 9012 and 9016 Murphy Road: The Plan Commission will consider an application by Cooper’s Hawk Restaurant and Winery. The applicant is requesting a major amendment to the final RPUD for the Union Pointe Business Park. The applicant is requesting relief for an increase in the area for wall and ground signage on the site and a reduction in the required parking for a restaurant support center. The applicant received minor amendment approval last month for the first phase of their corporate headquarters relocation, which was related to the construction of their production facility and winery office (currently under construction). The restaurant support center will provide corporate support for the company’s 28 restaurants located in eight states.
