Your Government and You - Week 2: Let Us Hear Your Voice

Last week, the Village began a three-week series on how residents can serve the Woodridge community. This week the topic explains the different opportunities throughout the year that allow you to interact with the Mayor & Village Board, Village staff members, and other government agencies.

How can you let your voice be heard? Participate in the annual Town Meeting (April) where you help to identify the priorities for the community; come meet and talk with your elected officials at quarterly Coffees with the Mayor & Board; attend Police Department Community Roll Calls hosted in neighborhood parks over the summer months; watch for information on the soon to be established Quality Community Task Force which will focus on a variety of community building topics including diversity, youth, and seniors; and respond to the annual Community Needs Survey if your household is randomly selected.
