Now Available - Dispose of Unused or Expired Medications in Woodridge!

The Village of Woodridge is excited to announce a new service for residents! Unwanted and expired prescriptions can be dropped off at the Woodridge Police Department from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Needles, syringes, sharps, illegal drugs, or liquids are not accepted. Medication must also be in a container or plastic bag with personal information removed.

The Prescription Drug Take Back Program offers a safe, easy way to drop off unwanted medications anonymously and aims to provide a responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while providing education about the potential for abuse of medications. It is offered through a partnership with the Cook County Sheriff's Office and the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District. Please call (630) 719-4740 for more information on the Prescription Drug Take Back Program.
